Affiliate Program FAQ

Joining our Affiliate Program is absolutely free. There are no hidden costs or fees at any point in the program.

1. Log in to your 10Dollar.ca account and click on the Partners tab. Click the Activate Account button to become an active member of the program.
2. Choose the banner you would like to display, copy the code for that banner, and then paste it where you'd like to feature it, such as your website, blog, or email footer.
3. Let your friends, family and business associates know about us, and you're on your way to collecting points!

Orders with a valid Affiliate Program ID will be qualified, provided the user has created an account in the previous 7 days. For the first 7 days after creating an account, a customer is considered a new customer. Orders from existing customers, including the affiliate, along with renewal orders, do not qualify for points. Orders that are refunded or cancelled will be debited from your points account.

No, your own new orders will not qualify for Affiliate Program points.

1. Visit the Affiliate Banner page in your account and copy the code for the banner you wish to display. Paste or embed that code on your site, in your emails, etc, and when a visitor clicks you your banner to shop from us they the code will replicate your ID to their order.
2. Have them enter your Affiliate ID in the shopping cart manually. Most people won't remember to do this, so the banner link is a more reliable method of sending new customers to earn you points.

Please feel free to include your affiliate banner on your website and blog sidebars and footers, forum and email signatures, social networking account profiles, or other personal accounts. In situations where you cannot show someone your banner, you may give them your Affiliate ID to enter when making a purchase. The Affiliate ID can be provided on a contact card, in writing, or by word of mouth.

You may not use the 10Dollar.ca brand or logo in any of your advertising. The banner should simply be displayed without headlines or embellishment. You may not use keywords relating to the 10Dollar.ca brand in meta-tags or PPC (pay-per-click) advertising.

Affiliates may not offer any incentives for clicking the affiliate link in order to gain additional points. You may not enter potential visitors into contests, offer discounts of any kind, offer free products or services, or provide any other incentive for clicking on your banner or link, or for entering your Affiliate ID on orders.

Affiliates are not authorized to engage in sending 'spam' emails promoting an affiliate link.

We reserve the right to deny any application or revoke points earned as a result of fraud or non-compliance with the Affiliate Program Agreement. We also reserve the right to deny referring sites that we feel are inappropriate, including those that host sexually explicit material, promote violence and/or discrimination, illegal activities, etc.

Your points will be calculated at the end of each month and will be available for you to use 60 days after they are earned. Your available points can be used to purchase any service on our website, such as domain registrations, renewals, transfers, and hosting packages. Each point redemption value is equal to $1 CAD.

Upon accumulating 50 points, your available points can also be put toward a gift certificate from one of the major online retailers offered. Please contact us to redeem your points as a gift certificate.

No, we will not disclose the contact information of our clients to any third party for purposes not outlined in our Privacy Policy. Your report will include anonymous information only. You may refer to the Affiliate Program Agreement for more information regarding confidentiality.
